These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Sub-Zero Repair Wayland ("we," "us," or "our"). By scheduling service with us, you agree to these Terms.
Service Agreement
When you schedule a service appointment with Sub-Zero Repair Wayland, you are entering into a service agreement. We agree to provide professional appliance repair services, and you agree to the terms outlined below.
Service Appointments
Scheduling
- Appointments are scheduled based on availability
- We will confirm your appointment time and provide an estimated arrival window
- An adult (18+) must be present during the service visit
Cancellations
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
- Repeated no-shows may result in a service fee for future appointments
Estimates and Pricing
Diagnostic Service
Our service visit includes a professional diagnostic assessment. Our technician will identify the issue and provide a detailed estimate for any necessary repairs.
Repair Estimates
- All repair estimates are provided in writing before work begins
- You are not obligated to proceed with repairs
- The diagnostic fee applies toward the repair cost if you choose to proceed
- Additional issues discovered during repair may require a revised estimate
Warranty
Labor Warranty
All repairs are covered by our 90-day labor warranty. If the same problem recurs within 90 days of the original repair, we will return to re-evaluate and repair at no additional labor charge.
Parts Warranty
Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties, which vary by component. We use genuine OEM parts whenever possible to ensure compatibility and longevity.
Warranty Exclusions
- Problems unrelated to the original repair
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or power surges
- Issues resulting from unauthorized repair attempts
- Normal wear items (filters, light bulbs, etc.)
- Cosmetic damage
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of service
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash
- Parts may require payment before ordering for special orders
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or conditions
- Food spoilage during appliance malfunction
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Damages arising from customer-provided parts
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your appliance and the problem
- Ensure safe access to the appliance
- Clear the area around the appliance before service
- Disclose any known issues or prior repair attempts
- Secure pets during the service visit
Service Area
We provide service throughout the MetroWest Boston area and surrounding communities. Service availability may vary by location. Contact us to confirm service in your area.
Disputes
If you have concerns about our service, please contact us directly. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly. Any disputes will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
